Awards
Merricks Organic Farm was the winner of the 2011 and runner up in the 2012 Somerset Life's Food and Drink Award in Best Organic Product catagory. After a considerable break, the award was relaunched in 2011 and is now an annual event to celebrate the excellence of Somerset food and drink producers.
Unlike other competitions where the buisness enters itself as a candidate, the nominees for the Somerset Life's Awards are put forward by the magazines readership. in both instances, we were totally unaware that we had been nominated so the award came out of the blue. We think it is amazing that so many customers would vote for us and feel it is a lovely way of showing their appreciation for our hard work.
